I am a psychiatrist, having completed a general psychiatry residency at the Municipal Institute Philippe Pinel (Rio de Janeiro), and a residency in child and adolescent psychiatry at Paris Descartes University (France). I completed an MSc in epidemiology, focusing on PTSD, at the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ). My current work in the lab focuses on psychedelics and the short- and long-term effects of ayahuasca ritual use.
