I obtained my BSc in Biomedical Sciences at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), where I worked as a junior researcher at the Neuroplasticity Laboratory on the behavior and neurochemistry evaluation of caffeine effects on rats with Anxiety Disorder. I also worked as a research assistance at D’Or Institute for Research and Education (IDOR) on the neural bases of human affiliative emotions. Currently, I am a Master student in Psychiatry and Mental Health at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), investigating self-awareness in people with Alzheimer’s Diseases. My research project focuses on the impacts of perspective taking on patients’ awareness of deficits and the potential of virtual reality technique on investigating the process.
