I completed my BSc in Psychology at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and my MSc in Social Psychology at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), where I investigated the role of parental care in the development of executive functions in childhood. Currently, I am a Clinical Psychology PhD Student at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). My research project focuses on decision-making and implicit and explicit learning abilities in individuals with dementia. Typically, dementia patients show deficits in many cognitive functions, including decision-making and these difficulties can be observed in daily living activities. Exploring dementia patients´ learning abilities in decisional contexts may be crucial for clinical, health and legal interventions.
