Graduate Student
I completed my BSc in Psychology at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), and I’m doing my master’s in clinical psychology at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). I’m currently developing a project to prevent dementia in healthy older adults, bringing an approach based on CST (Cognitive Stimulation Therapy). CST is a psychosocial therapy for people with dementia that has large evidence of effectiveness, and a great acceptance from the patients and their caregivers. We are building a bank of creative activities inspired by a variety of arts and games. My main interests are innovative and cost-effective neuropsychological interventions, preventive approaches in neuroscience, and the study of emotional processing and executive functions throughout life.
