I completed my BSc in Psychology at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) where I investigated the role of emotion in the reasoning processes. I am a certified humanistic-experiential therapist (TFE Brasil) with emotion-focused therapy and CBT training. Currently, I am a MSc student in Psychiatry and Mental Health at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). In my current project I am studying the cognitive bias in emotion regulation processes with patients with depression. My main areas of interest are emotional processing interacting with cognition.
