I completed my BSc in Psychology at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). I’m MSc and PhD in Mental Health at the Institute of Psychiatry of the same university. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Psychology at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). I have worked at Mograbilab in the project of implementation of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) in Brazil, co-ordinating the development of virtual CST groups and Dementia Awareness Course in the country. My main area of interest is the development of psychosocial interventions for people with dementia and their caregivers. I am also interested in self-awareness, decision-making capacity and quality of life in dementia.
